Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and restrooms
- Lead recreational programs (sports, arts, fitness) for diverse age groups
- Perform routine park inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community members
- Assist in event setup, coordination, and safety monitoring
- Collaborate with team on seasonal park beautification projects
- Enforce park rules and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in recreation, maintenance, or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
