No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive hands-on training in facility maintenance, event coordination, youth programming, and environmental stewardship. Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, equipment, and landscapes including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking paths
- Assist in organizing and executing community events, festivals, and recreational programs
- Safely operate maintenance equipment and tools following OSHA standards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Support environmental initiatives including native plant care and wildlife habitat preservation
- Contribute to youth sports leagues and after-school program supervision
- Complete daily facility inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license (required within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to work outdoors in South Florida climate (heat, humidity, occasional rain)
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and scheduling systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays for events
- Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
