Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, trail upkeep, and facility cleanliness
- Assist with special events (festivals, sports tournaments, concerts)
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Monitor park safety and report maintenance issues or hazards
- Support youth/adult recreation programs as needed
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) with proper certification
- Collaborate with team on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting 50 lbs, walking long distances)
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in customer service or recreation programs a plus
