Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean public parks, playgrounds, athletic facilities, and green spaces.
- Operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers (Equipment Provided).
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs to park structures, fencing, and amenities.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Monitor park grounds to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper use by residents.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in all weather conditions.
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and/or custodial maintenance practices is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to public service, teamwork, and safety standards.
