Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, raking, and trimming grass.
- Empty trash cans, clean restrooms, and ensure facilities are sanitary and well-maintained.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Operate light machinery and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards, report maintenance issues, and enforce park rules.
- Plant and care for trees, flowers, and shrubs to beautify public spaces.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License (Class C) is required for this position.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
