Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
- Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal during winter months.
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Operate light equipment such as mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, and utility vehicles.
- Interact with the public in a professional manner, answering inquiries and providing directions.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Parks Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in paid training programs and certification courses.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and punctuality.
