Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, edging, trimming, and landscaping.
- Perform routine maintenance on park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events and recreational programs.
- Monitor park areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to regulations.
- Operate and maintain light motorized equipment and hand tools safely.
- Respond to public inquiries regarding park amenities and services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or custodial work is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of power tools and landscaping machinery.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
