Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean public parks, trails, and recreational facilities to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of community events, sports leagues, and festivals.
- Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, raking, weeding, and trash removal.
- Monitor park activities to ensure visitor compliance with rules and regulations.
- Operate light machinery and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and golf carts safely and efficiently.
- Interact positively with the public, answering questions and providing information about park amenities.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Physically capable of performing moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of gardening or landscaping is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
