Responsibilities
- Maintain and landscape park grounds, including mowing, trimming, raking, and planting seasonal flowers.
- Ensure cleanliness of park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas to meet high sanitation standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Monitor park activities to ensure visitor safety and adherence to park rules.
- Perform minor maintenance on park equipment, such as repairing benches, fixing fences, or maintaining playground structures.
- Manage irrigation systems and assist with water park operations during peak seasons.
- Respond to community inquiries and provide excellent customer service to park visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and in extreme heat or cold.
