Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting flowers and shrubs.
- Sweep and clean park grounds, remove litter, and empty trash receptacles regularly.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events and recreational programs.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.
- Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, and other power tools safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong commitment to public service and community engagement.
