Responsibilities
- Maintain athletic fields, playgrounds, and landscaping to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Set up and dismantle equipment for community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including trash collection, mowing, and cleaning facilities.
- Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner, answering inquiries and providing assistance.
- Monitor park facilities for safety hazards and report necessary repairs to supervisors.
- Operate park vehicles and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to participate in paid training and on-the-job learning.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License preferred but not always required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or maintenance tools is a plus but not mandatory.
