Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic fields, and walking trails
- Implement seasonal landscape maintenance and irrigation systems
- Lead recreational programs and community events for all age groups
- Enforce safety standards and conduct routine park inspections
- Collaborate with volunteers and community groups on beautification projects
- Assist in emergency response during extreme weather events
- Manage equipment inventory and perform preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or facility maintenance preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification (training provided)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Pass background check and drug screening
