Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain recreation facilities (pools, sports courts, community centers)
- Lead youth and adult recreational activities and programs
- Ensure safety compliance and emergency response procedures
- Assist with park maintenance and landscape management
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and residents
- Collaborate with team members to execute special events
- Complete daily facility inspections and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
