Responsibilities
- Perform park maintenance including landscaping, trail upkeep, and facility repairs
- Lead recreational activities for youth and adults (sports, arts, educational programs)
- Ensure park safety through regular inspections and hazard reporting
- Interact with park visitors, providing information and exceptional customer service
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) after training
- Assist in special event setup and coordination
- Maintain accurate records of park conditions and visitor feedback
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills with diverse populations
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (CPR, First Aid) during training
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- No felony convictions involving violence or theft
- Pass background check and drug screening
