Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields according to city standards
- Assist in organizing and executing community events and recreational programsConduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Operate park equipment safely and responsibly
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for special projects
- Support environmental conservation initiatives within park boundaries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (required within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or facility maintenance preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
- Willingness to complete paid training program (8-12 weeks)
