Responsibilities
- Operate park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and community centers
- Lead recreational programs for youth, adults, and seniors
- Perform routine park maintenance and safety inspections
- Assist with special events and community outreach initiatives
- Enforce park rules and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of facility usage and incidents
- Collaborate with park rangers and maintenance teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
- Commitment to public service and community values
