Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned urban routes efficiently and accurately
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle maintenance records
- Sort and organize mail according to USPS standards and delivery sequences
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and work in all weather conditions
- Complete required paperwork and documentation for daily operations
- Assist with mail processing duties at the distribution facility as needed
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (6+ hours)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
