Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf, landscaping, and irrigation systems
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles) safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain recreational facilities (playgrounds, sports courts, trails)
- Assist with special events and community programs
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to perform physical labor in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with grounds maintenance or park operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
