Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair athletic fields, playgrounds, and landscaping areas to high standards of safety and aesthetics.
- Perform routine cleaning and trash removal in parks, restrooms, and public facilities.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, mowers, and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events, recreational programs, and sports leagues.
- Monitor park areas to ensure safety compliance, report hazards, and enforce park rules.
- Water plants, trees, and flowers to ensure optimal growth and appearance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintenance practices is preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
