Responsibilities
- Maintain Public Spaces: Perform routine landscaping, mowing, trimming, and general park maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Facility Upkeep: Clean and repair park facilities, restrooms, and recreational equipment to meet high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery, including mowers, tractors, and gardening tools.
- Event Support: Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for community events, sports leagues, and festivals.
- Enforcement: Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, maintaining a secure atmosphere.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the status of supplies, tools, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or public service is preferred.
- License: Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and power tool operation.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with the public and team members.
