Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging recreation programs (sports, arts, outdoor adventures) with remote coordination capabilities
- Manage facility bookings and permit processes using our digital platform
- Conduct community outreach and needs assessment via virtual and in-person methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on event planning and resource allocation
- Monitor program performance metrics and prepare remote-friendly progress reports
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accessibility standards across all sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in parks/recreation program coordination
- CPRP certification or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in recreation management software (e.g., ActiveNet, RecTrac)
- Strong virtual collaboration skills using Microsoft Teams/Slack
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
