Responsibilities
- Design and implement virtual recreation programs (fitness classes, workshops, virtual tours)
- Manage digital community engagement via mobile apps and online platforms
- Conduct remote park assessments and maintenance coordination
- Develop hybrid event strategies combining in-person and virtual participation
- Support park permit processing and facility scheduling through digital systems
- Monitor social media channels for community interaction and program promotion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using digital project management tools
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years experience in parks/recreation or community program coordination
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams) and digital content creation
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong written communication skills for remote stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision
- Flexibility for occasional on-site site visits and weekend events
- California driver's license with clean driving record
