Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, landscaping, and litter removal
- Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Set up/take down event equipment for community gatherings and sports activities
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs
- Assist with youth/adult recreational programs and special events
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and event attendees
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and light equipment operation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
