Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and green spaces including mowing, trimming, and litter removal
- Operate light equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently
- Inspect and repair park amenities (benches, shelters, playgrounds, signage)
- Assist with seasonal setup/breakdown of recreational events and programs
- Support winter operations including snow removal and ice control at facilities
- Enforce park rules and provide courteous customer service to visitors
- Document maintenance activities and report facility issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize daily work assignments
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, walking extended periods)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance
- Basic communication skills for team interactions and visitor assistance
- Commitment to safety protocols and equipment handling standards
- Must be 18+ years old (or 16+ with parental consent for limited roles)
