Responsibilities
- Perform daily park maintenance including landscaping, playground inspections, and equipment upkeep
- Operate recreational facilities, athletic fields, and community centers
- Lead youth and adult recreational programs (sports, arts, fitness)
- Enforce park safety rules and emergency response procedures
- Assist with special events, festivals, and community outreach initiatives
- Document facility conditions and maintenance requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
