Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, trails, and facilities (mowing, landscaping, equipment operation)
- Assist with organizing community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs
- Enforce park safety rules and provide visitor assistance
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team on seasonal projects (snow removal, cleanup, habitat restoration)
- Support educational outreach programs for youth and adults
- Operate park vehicles and specialized machinery safely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic physical fitness for manual labor (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to public service and community values
- Willingness to complete paid training certification
