Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, facilities, and equipment to safety and aesthetic standards
- Assist with organizing and supervising recreational programs and community events
- Conduct routine inspections of playgrounds, trails, and athletic facilities
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries promptly
- Operate maintenance machinery (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) safely
- Enforce park regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and maintenance procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Previous parks/recreation or landscaping experience preferred
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
