Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with precision
- Manage scheduling systems for medical appointments and meetings
- Handle confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to veterans and their families
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping using VA systems
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and documentation
- Support special events and outreach programs for veteran communities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with veteran populations (preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
