Responsibilities
- Manage and organize federal and state filing systems with strict adherence to compliance regulations and privacy standards.
- Prepare and distribute routine correspondence, memos, and status reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications, compliance documentation, and state-level reporting.
- Process incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, routing inquiries to the appropriate department heads.
- Maintain accurate calendars and schedule meetings for senior management and project stakeholders.
- Conduct basic research to support ongoing government project initiatives and policy updates.
- Ensure all office equipment and supplies are stocked and operational to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of federal and state compliance standards and record-keeping protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and obtain a government security clearance.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
