Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain confidential records
- Coordinate with federal agencies and veteran service organizations
- Ass veterans with benefit inquiries via phone and in-person
- Prepare reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
- Support outreach events for veteran community engagement
- Adhere to strict federal privacy and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal employment
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with veteran populations preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week
