Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to produce actionable intelligence for government agencies
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for federal stakeholder presentations
- Ensure strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support federal grant program evaluations
- Document data methodologies and maintain audit trails for federal transparency requirements
- Support ad-hoc data requests from federal partners within 48-hour SLAs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of data analysis experience with federal/government datasets preferred
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century IDEA Act)
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain data integrity in high-stakes environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict federal compliance deadlines
