Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, specifically within the public sector or federal contracting landscape. You will be tasked with maintaining data quality, generating reports, and collaborating with subject matter experts to visualize complex trends.
Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings and written reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and compliance with federal standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, including NIST and FISMA guidelines, during data handling.
- Collaborate with program managers to define data requirements and optimize analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience in government or federal environments.
- Proficient in SQL for querying databases and extracting data; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (or willingness to undergo required background checks).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
