Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for federal employees regarding hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and update federal IT assets and inventory records in compliance with government standards.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity problems.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with the full-time team to optimize office technology workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Relevant experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Ability to obtain or possess a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
- Knowledge of federal IT compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) is a plus.
