As a Federal IT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our national systems while enjoying a supportive work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of federal information systems and networks.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, including NIST and OMB guidelines.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware and software across the organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technology solutions.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
