Responsibilities
- Document Management: Review, process, and file a high volume of confidential correspondence, reports, and forms with strict adherence to compliance standards.
- Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and routing requests to the appropriate departments.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update internal databases and electronic records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Meeting Support: Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for departmental staff meetings.
- Office Operations: Assist in the procurement of office supplies and the maintenance of a professional and organized workspace.
- Special Projects: Support the team with ad-hoc projects, data analysis, and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a government, corporate, or customer service environment.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Background: Ability to pass a standard background check and government security clearance verification.
