Responsibilities
- Process and review pension benefit applications and retirement requests for government employees in Miami, FL, and Virginia.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to retirees and active employees regarding pension plan inquiries.
- Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the reconciliation of pension payroll data and preparation of monthly reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state pension laws and government retirement policies.
- Collaborate with the payroll and HR departments to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources is preferred.
- Previous experience in pension administration, government benefits, or customer service is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
