Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean public parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Assist with landscaping duties, including mowing, raking, planting, weeding, and trash removal.
- Set up and break down equipment for community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Interact with park visitors, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor park areas to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report equipment issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
