Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of park facilities, including restrooms, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, raking, weeding, and trash removal.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational equipment and events.
- Interact positively with the public, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards and report maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Assist in the operation of park facilities during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with all city safety and sanitation policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, custodial work, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
