Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including snow and ice removal, street sweeping, and trash collection during inclement weather.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and utility vehicles.
- Assist in the maintenance of public parks, sidewalks, and roadways.
- Perform graffiti removal and general cleanup of public infrastructure.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic control procedures while working on or near roadways.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Kentucky Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic math skills for measuring and recording work performed.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
- Strong commitment to public service and community pride.
