Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and excavators.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as grading, trenching, and paving repair.
- Assist in traffic control operations, including setting up cones, signs, and barriers.
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report maintenance needs.
- Clean work sites, remove debris, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in snow and ice removal during winter months.
- Load and unload materials and supplies as needed for projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Missouri Driver's License (Class A preferred).
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with heavy machinery operation is a plus but not always required.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
