Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on streets, sidewalks, and public infrastructure.
- Assist in landscaping, tree trimming, and park maintenance activities.
- Operate light construction and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in traffic control duties and flagging operations during road work.
- Remove debris, litter, and hazardous materials from public rights-of-way.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for projects.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus.
- Must possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
