Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Operate advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo.
- Regulation Enforcement: Enforce security regulations and directives to prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas of the airport.
- Customer Assistance: Provide clear and professional instructions to travelers, answering questions and resolving concerns with patience and efficiency.
- Threat Detection: Maintain a high level of alertness to identify potential threats and report suspicious activities immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete screening logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in compliance with agency standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Health Standards: Must meet medical standards regarding vision and hearing.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
