Responsibilities
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along a prescribed route in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Sort and organize mail on the vehicle and at the post office before the start of the route.
- Obtain proper signature(s) on all C.O.D. and registered/insured mail items.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good operating condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and postal policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (or the ability to obtain one).
- Ability to lift parcels weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
