Responsibilities
- Diligently deliver mail and parcels along a designated route in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve service issues.
- Collect and process mail from collection boxes and post office drop slots.
- Ensure the safe handling of all mail and packages, maintaining a high level of security.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently before starting the delivery route.
- Use handheld scanning devices to record delivery status and track mail.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including vehicle maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or a resident alien.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a drug test and background check (including criminal history).
