Job Overview:
As a City Carrier Associate, you will deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an established route. You will be responsible for ensuring that mail is delivered accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently before delivery.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Observe safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Handle packages with care and ensure proper handling of mail.
- Report any delivery issues or mail irregularities immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (must pass background check).
- Ability to pass a drug screening and medical examination.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
