Responsibilities
- Process Weekend Pension Claims: Accurately review and process pension applications, withdrawals, and benefit adjustments submitted during the weekend shift.
- Data Integrity Verification: Conduct thorough audits of beneficiary records and retirement accounts to ensure all information complies with federal and state regulations.
- Customer Assistance: Provide timely and professional responses to inquiries from retirees and government agencies regarding weekend submissions.
- Compliance Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of processed claims and prepare weekly compliance reports for the regional management team.
- System Management: Utilize specialized pension administration software to update records and track the status of ongoing cases.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate discrepancies in pension calculations and resolve them in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or pension/benefits processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with ERPs or pension administration software.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
