As a Police Dispatcher Trainee, you will be the critical link between the public and law enforcement. You will be trained to handle high-pressure situations with precision and empathy, ensuring that emergency resources are deployed efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the public.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical units to incident scenes.
- Monitor and update the status of field units using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.
- Provide critical information and instructions to callers during emergencies.
- Enter and maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and calls.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under extreme pressure.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to multitask effectively.
