  • Maintain real-time situational awareness of active incidents and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to responding officers and other public safety agencies via phone and radio.
  • Perform administrative duties including scheduling, record keeping, and file management within the dispatch center.
  • Adhere to strict protocols and standard operating procedures during high-stress emergency situations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screen, medical exam, and psychological evaluation.
