Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and business lines
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems with provided equipment
- Maintain accurate radio communications and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Operate specialized communication hardware and software (equipment provided)
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified by pre-employment test)
- Clear articulation and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn proprietary systems
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Valid driver's license (required for field training)
