Responsibilities
- Operate multi-line emergency and non-emergency communication systems
- Process and prioritize incoming calls for police, fire, and EMS services
- Dispatch appropriate emergency units using CAD software and radio equipment
- Maintain detailed records and logs of all communications
- Provide critical information to first responders and the public
- Participate in continuous training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
